During 2016 I had brand management and business development responsibilities at Uniplaces. This startup founded in 2012 is an online marketplace for booking student accommodation that makes it easier and safer for students to rent an apartment or a room, specially abroad.
Specifically, my role at Uniplaces consisted on acting as Ambassador Brand Manager, leading a team of over 50 employees who spread their brand message, help students who are looking for accommodation in Madrid or abroad book their homes with Uniplaces or support the company in its collaboration with universities and partnering with the best brands to make student life easier.
Other big important responsibility was to raise brand awareness content through all available channels (Facebook, Uniplaces Blog) and coverage on campus media or attend, plan and host events for students at different universities in Madrid.
It was a valuable experience to learn about startups, digital business and entrepreneurship in a young and dynamic environment.
